Sometimes, trying is the best accomplishment of the day.

Today, I had all sorts of intentions to sit down and study my Korean for a large chunk of the day. Well, due to an overloaded schedule this past week and no time to rest, I found that when I sat down to study, I couldn't really focus. I did manage to do some listening practice and review but I finally had to admit that what I needed most was rest - physical and intellectual rest. I also had to remind myself that I did not fail in my mission to study because I did do some studying. I tried my best in the moment that I was given with what I had in that moment. That's a win!

Sometimes, trying is the best accomplishment of the day.
